He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin and Marie Elizabeth Hummel (Gartner); his significant other Judy Hummel; and his brother David Hummel. He is survived by: his son Tony Hummel (Devon); his stepson Ed Dennis (Sue Arledge); his daughters, Ann Guthrie (Mike Barrett) and Marla Suttles (Donald); his sister Mary Lou Hostettler; his sister-in-law Sandy Hummel; his caregiver Beth Thornton; and his close friend Lori Rine. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
