With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack L. Wentzel of Heath, Ohio, who passed away on October 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wentzel; his siblings, Norma Strohmenger (Wentzel) and Robert Wentzel (Mary); Betty Wentzel (Jameson). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Lynn Wentzel; his sons, Charles Wentzel (Michelle) of Upper Arlington and Jay Wentzel (Yun-Hee) of Columbus; his stepsons, Eric Weate of Heath and Peter Weate (Alison) of Newark; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wentzel, John Wentzel, Sam Wentzel, Oliver Wentzel and Kendahl Weate. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heath Church of Christ (1331 Chapel Way, Heath, OH 43056). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
