He was predeceased by: his parents, George Canavan and Mildred Canavan (Markusic); his wife Lynda Canavan (DelGenio); his children, Michael Canavan and Christine Canavan; his brothers, Joseph "Joe" and Gerald "Gerry" Canavan; his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" DelGenio; and his pets, Bonnie and Clyde.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Dallmeyer (Frederick); his grandchildren, Autumn of Plainfield, Illinois. and Jonathan Dallmeyer of Plainfield, Illinois.; his siblings-in-law, Martin "Mart" DelGenio of Georgia, Steven "Steve" DelGenio (Deby) of Georgia, Susan "Sue" Canavan of Youngstown, OH and Diana Canavan of San Antonio, TX; his sibling's children, John DelGenio of Georgia, Emily Brooks (Jason) of Georgia, Kathryn DelGenio of New Jersey and Shaun Canavan (Amy) of Florida; his great-niece Scarlett; and his great-nephews, Joseph Canavan of Florida and Alvin Brooks of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mike's name to Ohio's Hospice of Central Ohio or the Licking County Aging Partners.
