He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Smith and Marguerite Smith (Londot); and his sisters, Julia Moore and Betty Yough (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Buchanan); his children, Laura Shaffer (Keith), Robert, Jr. Smith (Irene) and Tricia Barclay (Jeff); and his sister Tess Frizzel (Rex). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
