He was predeceased by : his parents, Verlin Claire and Evelyn Florence Madison (Rust); his granddaughter Taylor Goins; and his brother Daryl Madison. He is survived by : his wife Renate "Hap"; his children, Kristel Goins (Robert), Todd Madison and Lori Madison Schindler; his grandchildren, Braedon, Liberty, Nadia Goins, Josh Madison (Melanie), Cheyenne Madison, Cody Madison and Erin Schindler; his great grandchildren, Marshall Madison, Kai, Kamiela and Jaelyn Schindler; and his siblings, Clarice Gehl and Jon Madison (Irene).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or Spring Hills Baptist Church.
