She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Parkinson and Eva Pearl Parkinson (McQueen); her husband James Robert Young; and her siblings, Everett Parkinson and Marty Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Schulz (Thomas); her grandchildren, Mathew Schulz, Meredith Grant (Stewart) and Jack Schulz; her siblings, Jean Lichtenstein (Joel) and John Parkinson (Sheryl); her close friend Jarrel Haynes; and her cousin Joseph Parkinson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
