He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Dye and Lola Dye (Vance); his wife Shirley Dye; his children, Trenna McCoy (Everett), Chester W. "Bill" Dye (Lori) and Tabitha Dye; his grandchildren, Sabrina McCoy (Terry), Michael McCoy, Matthew McCoy (Ashley), Markus McCoy, Travis McCoy, William Dye, Isabella Dye-Searles and Layla Dye-Searles; his great grandchildren, Nikolaos Conn, Damein McCoy, Aries McCoy and Leo McCoy; and his sister Mary Tuggle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service (285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
