He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Francis Lemmon and Alice Rebecca Lemmon (Keener); his mother-in-law Myrtle Wheatley Gullett; his sister Nina Lemmon Pierce; his siblings-in-law, Lola Hager (Newell), Virgil, Patricia Wheatley, David Sapp, James Betts, David Calvin, Tiny Gartin and Sammy Smith; his niece Vicki Lawson; and his nephews, Gary Hager and Ricky Gullett Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Faye Lemmon (Wheatley); his children, Cindy Lemmon Griesse (Guy) of Naples, Donna Lemmon Perkins (Terry) of Newark and John Lemmon of Buckeye Lake, Ohio; his grandchildren, Ross Lough of Newark, Ohio., Zac Lemmon (Erica), Corey Perkins (Amanda), Jonni Perkins Irwin (Chris), Brittany Raff (Kyle), Doug Raff, Kendall Griesse Calwhite (Travis) and Hans Griesse; his great grandchildren, Laeleianna, Paul, Warren, Brooks and Fischer; his siblings, Rosemary Sapp Betts, Mary Lemmon Calvin and Dennis Lemmon; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Pierce and Ricky Gullett Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (118 3rd St, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008). A reception will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Food Program of Buckeye Lake or any charity of your choice.
