He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Melick and Marjorie Melick (Wade); his son Randy Melick; and his siblings, Robert Melick, Joanne Roberts and Dixie Pitt.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Melick; his daughters, Rosie Hibler (Stan) and Robin Branstool (Dan Wyeth); his grandchildren, Travis Branstool, Charlie Branstool (Mary), Mallory Branstool (Austin Hammond), Gabriel Girdley and Olivia Gatta (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Reah Branstool, Forrest Hammond, Jackson, Maya Branstool, Lily and Ella Gatta.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service - Hebron (108 N 7th St, Hebron, OH 43025). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
