He was predeceased by: his parents, Grenville A Phipps and Bernice Phipps (Kegley); and his brother Grenville Phipps Jr. (Greenie). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte (Retherford); his children, Glennda Riehl (Travis), Heather Brumagin (Barry), Velvet Davis (Sean) and Harold Dean Phipps (Trisha); his grandchildren, Taylor (Tylor), Eric, Brooke (Curtis), Mikaela (Jeff), Tiffany (Kaleb), Kyle, Xander and Zeva; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Emma, Lily, Frank, Beau and Case; and his siblings, Diana Calton (Gary), Kathie Fields (Glenn) and Tim Phipps (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
