She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Engle and Marie Engle (Wheeler); her husband Forrest Melick; her son Randy Melick; and her sister Linda Riley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosie Hibler (Stan) and Robin Branstool (Dan Wyeth); her grandchildren, Travis Branstool (Julia Riguard), Charlie Branstool (Mary), Mallory Branstool (Austin Hammond), Gabriel Girdley and Olivia Gatta (Mike); her great grandchildren, Reah, Jackson, Maya Branstool, Forrest, Millie Hammond, Lilly and Ella Gatta; and her brother Roger Engle.
