We announce the death of Michael Wells of Hebron, Ohio, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 69. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Wells; his stepfather Lester Wells; his father Tom Patterson; his daughter Ashley Fewins; his siblings, Debra Kilbarger, Lorie Pargeon, James Wells and Ronald Wells; and his brothers-in-law, Monte Eveland and Gail Barcus.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Fewins; his children, Daniel Kellogg (Erin), Kayla Fewins (Buddy Holley), Holly Wells (Al Lowe) and Michael Wells, Jr. (Sarah); his siblings, John "J. T." Patterson (Mary), Karen Emmert, Lynn Voss, Jewell "Babe" Eveland (Monte), Robin Barcus (Gail), Sue Wells and Patsy Harris (Charlie); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Wells and Kim Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bope-Thomas Funeral Home (203 S Columbus St, Somerset, OH 43783).
