Carol left this world on July 16, 2024 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond P. Kirwen and Hilda Kirwen (Dumminger); her husband Charles "Chuck" Holcomb Jr.; her siblings, Raymond "Bud" Kirwen (Bernadine), Donald Kirwen and Margaret "Peg" Wonderly (John); and her siblings-in-law, Marcella Kirwen, Earl "Bill" Brown and Robert Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Patricia) of Sunnyvale, CA, Kathy Holcomb of Fremont, Jeffery (Cindy) of Gibsonburg and Jill Swanson of Brownsville, TX; her sisters, Mary Herman of Gibsonburg, Rita Brown of Gibsonburg and Nancy Kirwen of Erie, MI; and her friend Jane Karu. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Michael Catholic Church.
