With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold E. Mitchem Sr. of Helena, Ohio, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas H. Mitchem and Mary M. Mitchem; his wife Lois M. Moon; his daughter Shelia Genet; and his siblings, Douglas "Pooch" Mitchem, Sue Nye (Raymond) and Bob Mitchem (Marilyn).

He is survived by: his children, Harold Mitchem, Jr. (Connie) of Risingsun, Cindy McFann (David) of Wayne, Gene Abel (Tammy) of Stockbridge, GA and Casey Kloeppel (Chris) of Alvada; his siblings, Bill Mitchem (Charlotte) of Tiffin, Linda "Sis" Leitch (Jim) of Fostoria and Ronnie Mitchem (Karen) of Fostoria; and his girlfriend Judy Russell of Fostoria. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
