In loving memory of Donna L. Smith of Hicksville, Ohio, who departed this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 85. Donna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Brannan and Helen Brannan (Newman); her husband Gaylen Smith; and her daughter Monica Smith. She is survived by: her children, Rick Smith (Lisa) of Toledo, Roy Smith (Pam) of Hicksville, Gale Smith of Hicksville, Tina Smith of Kendallville and Philip Smith (Lea) of Toledo, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Ben Smith, Leah Hare (Jon), Emily Smith, Nathan Smith (Sarah), Amelia Shropshire (Matt), Grace Smith, Noah Smith and Tyler Smith. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Forest Home Cemetery (9 Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526).
Memorial contributions may be made in Donna's memory to Johnson Memorial Library-Friends of the Library or First Church of Christ, Hicksville.
