He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Meyer and Mary Meyer (Zuber); his wife Marcelene M. "Marci" Malcuit; his son Mark E. Meyer, Sr.; and his siblings, Virgil Meyer, Robert Meyer, Margaret Hissong and Mary Lou Slusher.
He is survived by: his son Brett M. Meyer of Hicksville; his caregiver Nancy Cole (Tom) of Auburn, Indiana; his grandsons, Mark E. Meyer, Jr. of Edgerton and Ryan Harmon (Toni) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his sister Rama Sarazin of Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Home Cemetery (9 Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to St. Michael Catholic Church, or to the Crippled Children & Adult Society.
