He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Dietz and Lulu Dietz (Dickerhoff); his wife Dorothy Gustin; his son-in-law David Finzer; and his sister Marian Lantz.
He is survived by : his children, Jack Dietz (Dianne) of Hicksville, Dave Dietz (Becky) of Hicksville, Kim Dietz of Churubusco and Dawn Finzer of Hicksville, Ohio; and his nephew Lynn Lantz of Defiance, Ohio.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
