He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kauffman and Clara Mae Kauffman (Miller); his parents-in-law, Carolyn K. Lengacher and James Lengacher; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Kauffman, David Graber and Laverne Hilty.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Kauffman (Debbie) of Woodburn, IN, Norman Kauffman (Rose) of Hicksville, OH and Ashley King (Glenn) of Montezuma, GA; his grandchildren, Allison, Cheyenne, Abigail, Savannah, Braylon, Teresa, Chelsie, Sadie, Carson, Zane, Stetson, Adrian and Micah; his siblings, Amos Kauffman (Melinda) of Grabill, IN, Andrew Kauffman of Ft. Wayne, IN, Freeman Kauffman (Martha) of Camden, MI, Barbara Graber of Grabill, IN, Rachel Hilty of Berne, IN and Freida Shetler (Jake) of Monroe, IN; and his mother-in-law Anna Mae Lengacher of Woodburn, IN..
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fellowship Haven Church (9115 Brush College Rd, Woodburn, IN 46797). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
