Phyllis Amaden Obituary
We bid farewell to Phyllis Amaden of Hicksville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Applegate and Irene Applegate (Volkert); her husband Richard P. "Bud" Amaden; her son Gregory Neal Amaden; her grandsons, Matthew and Michael Smith; and her brother Lowell Applegate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Coburn (Larry) of Lady Lake, Diane Taulbee (Doug) of Jacksonville and Cheryl Larry (Joe) of Hicksville; and her grandchildren, Amanda Sorgen (Brian), John McCain, Briana Owens (Daniel), Brittany Larry, Petty Officer, Joe Larry (Tabitha), Courtney Graber, Caitlin Petersen (Samuel), Deanna Thomas (Chris), Logan Taulbee (Karli), Trey Taulbee (Julia), Collin Taulbee (Bailie) and Taylor Larry. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (232 W Arthur St, Hicksville, OH 43526).
