He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Wilson and Luetta Wilson; his wife Marlene Wilson (Bunger); his son Stephen Wilson; and his brothers, Richard and Bill Wilson.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Sorrell; his grandchildren, Jessica Lovell (Bobby) and Dayle Wilson; his great grandchildren, Emile Wilson-Hayes, Brantley Lovell, Ellie Culp, Madelyn Lovell and Sophie Roberts; and his close friend Vickie Guay.
