She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burson and Katherine Burson (Gerlach); and her husband Joseph Shinkle. She is survived by: her children, Della Cox of Felicity, Ohio and Jerry Cox of Fulton, Mississippi; and her siblings, Alice King of Hamersville, Leslie Burson of Felicity and James Burson of Georgetown, Ohio.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
