We announce the death of Carol E. Gladden in Highland, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bush and Marcia Bush; her husband Merrill; her brother Gene Bush; her brother-in-law William Roth; Delores Gladden.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Frances Roth and Gary Bush; her children, Dr. Merrill Jr. Gladden (Jamie Lynne) and Angela Drake (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Dalton Drake, Elijah, Isaac, Isaiah Gladden and Peyton Drake.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matheney Funeral Home (165 N Kennebec Ave, McConnelsville, OH 43756). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the M&M Fire Department, or to Malta Methodist Church.
