It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence D. Veach in Highland, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Allen and Irene Veach (Bivens); his siblings, Sharon Kay VanDyke and James Frederick Veach; his uncle Joe; and his aunt Delores Dixon.
He is survived by: his fiancé Sandy Ogdan; his sister-in-law Mary Jo Veach; his nephews, Steve Allen Veach and Gary Lee VanDyke; his niece Amanda VanDyke; his cousins, Gerald, Peanuts and Chetty Thayer; his close friends, Ralph and Janice Flowers; his partner's daughter Anna Ogdan; and also Mary Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Carter Funeral Home (29 N Main St, Germantown, OH 45327). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens (1639 E Lytle 5 Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458).
