Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Charles for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Mitchell and Jean Marcellus Mitchell; and his son Chuck. He is survived by: his friend Ray Stuppey; his wife Ruby; and his daughter Deborah (Charles Brown). He is also survived by two brothers, many other relatives, and many friends, co-workers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Hilliard United Methodist Church (5445 Scioto Darby Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026).
