She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Spencer and Janet; and her brother David Spencer. She is survived by: her son Joe; her husband Michael Middendorf; her children, Joseph Middendorf and Michelle Middendorf (Mikie); her siblings, Carol Landefeld (Kurt), Sally Badgley (Dan), Sue Blanchette (Dan), Judy Hood and John Spencer; her brother-in-law Chey (Kristi); Janet.

As expression of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio.
