He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dixon and Nora Dixon; and his siblings, Mary, Opal, Robert, Pauline, Harry, Fred and Arnold.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dixon; his children, Diane Bonham (James), Susan Wainfor (Stephen) and Joe Dixon (Debora); his grandchildren, Blake Bonham (Sarah), Kyle Bonham, Seth Bonham, Spencer Wainfor, Daniela Wainfor, Adam Dixon and Cory Dixon (Destiny Curry); his great grandchildren, Jared Bonham, Lily Bonham and Lindsey Bonham; his siblings, Martha Adams, Kathleen Adams, Frances "Frankie" Foxbower, Barbara Williamson and Rev. Donald Dixon (Dianna); his brothers-in-law, Jack Poplis (Laura) and Paul Poplis (Barbara); and his dear neighbor Di Harris.
