He was predeceased by: his parents, Eileen Shrontz and Don Shrontz; his son Jason Shrontz; and his sister Becky Appleyard. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Thacker (Andy); his former wife Patty Shrontz; his sister Geneva Rice; his nieces and nephews, Erin Villareal (Jesse), Kristine Appleyard, Susan Rice Noah (Kirk), Betsy Rice Carothers, Rob Appleyard and Michael Rice; his friend Mazie Brougher (Lucy); his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Cole, Gavin, Lexi Thacker, Samantha and Lily Shrontz; and his nieces and nephews, Leo, Giselle Villareal, Aden, Ali Appleyard, Reese, Anna Shaffer, Terran Noah, Mackenzie, Kaia, Jill Boyers and Elijah Carothers.
