Helen E. Collier Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen E. Collier (Hilliard, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ishmal Collier; her son Scott J. Collier; her parents, Andrew Poole and Mary Katherine Smith; her siblings, Andrew Schmitt and Barbara Crotts; and her nephew Dave Norton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna F. Bormuth (Dave) and Anita K. Norris (Jeff); her grandchildren, Dennis A. Collier (Tina), Timothy J. Collier, Blake S. Montgomery, Nathan I. Norris and Jennifer E. Norris; her sister Carolyn Norton; and her sibling's children, Shelley, Lorie, Judy, Sandy and Jason. She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tidd Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Darby Township Cemetery in Unionville Center.
Due to the love Helen had for children, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the JW Reason Splash Innovation Scholarship Fund at https://my.cheddarup.com. in honor of Helen Collier 100% of the funds raised go directly to JW Reason students to provide experiences in the areas of art and music, technology, sports and wellness, literacy, and career exploration.
