Jackie Gleason Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Gleason of Hilliard, Ohio, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his parents, Conrad Gleason and Nellie Leona Gleason; his brother Robert Gleason; his mother-in-law Edith Clouse; and his son-in-law Don Rupright.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Rupright, Jackie Gleason (Marla), Janet Metz and Sandy McKenna (John); his grandchildren, Lynn Segovia (Carlos), Jon Metz, Jackie Ryan Gleason (McKenzie), Nick Gleason (Sarah), Stacey McKenna and Jay McKenna (Brittany); his sister Donna Abbott; and his close friends, Cindy, Sheri and Tony. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a cash donation or toiletry item for the homeless as Jackie's greatest purpose over the last 5 years has been making sleeping mats for area homeless.
