He was predeceased by: his aunt Jennifer Sanders; his uncle Nicholas Barnett; and his sister Emma Sanders. He is survived by: his parents, Eric Sanders (Stephanie Buswell) and Stephanie Jones; his siblings, Rylee Black, Ryland Black, Allysa Sanders and Erika Sanders; his grandparents, Sally Barnett, Ray Howard and Linda Howard; his aunt Makenna Barnett; his uncles, Eddie Barnett, Michael Barnett and Adam Jett; his friends, Link and Kasey; Chris Miller and Jessica Perry. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Jaden Sanders football memorial scholarship fund at Weaver Middle School or Columbus Humane Society.
