She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Jane Rowan Simpson; her husband Robert; her daughters, Lindsay and Kelsey; her grandchild Baby Shirvani; her brother Tom Simpson (Cheryl); her pet Brody; and her granddaughter Zara. She was also cherished by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, unofficially adopted children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to a bench that they would like to donate in Jan's honor to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
