Mary Sheward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Sheward (Hilliard, Ohio), who passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse F. Stamper and Ivy Leone Stamper (Schilling); her brothers, Jesse F. Stamper, Jr. and John Wesley Stamper; her husbands, Robert D. Nash and William E. Sheward; her sons, Steven W. Sheward and James R. Nash; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Nash (James).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald D. Nash (Nancy) and Cheryl Nash Leeseberg (Ralph); her daughter-in-law Yvonna Sheward; and her grandchildren, Cara Rock (Jonathon), Robert Nash (Robin), William "Dusty" Sheward, Kristina Bradford (Nicholas), Bethany Nichols (Jeff), Tim Nash, Julie Nash, Valerie Echo Duckett (Brendan), Melissa Miller (Sam) and Sara Pentiuk (Matt). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Beyond the classroom, she was an active member of three bridge clubs, two educational sororities, as well as charity groups including Wings which worked to benefit patients at Children's Hospital.
