He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hess and Priscilla Hess. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Petruzzi; his daughters, Cynthia Leland of Columbus, Patricia Bridgman (Ross) of Columbus, Sharon Rich (Dave) of Columbus and Nicole McKay (James) of Brisbane, Australia.; his grandchildren, Trevor Rich (Sarah), Nigel Rich (Abby) of Columbus, Maria Leland (Roselyne Cepko) of Bar and France; and his great grandchild Daphne June Leland.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church (4343 Dublin Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Respite Ministry of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, which supports families caring for loved ones in the early to moderate stages of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
