He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Gloria Garey (Pat), Tina Miller (Steve), Kathy Cunningham (Paul), Caprice Colucci and Monet Colucci; and his brothers, Gerald "Butch" Writesel (Cathy) and Lloyd Lee Writesel (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
