In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stagakes and Mary Stagakes. She is survived by: her husband William Cavanaugh; her sons, William Cavanaugh, Paul Litteral Jr. and Christopher E Litteral; her grandchildren, Hailey Rene Litteral, Annabella Marie Litteral and Sophia Litteral; and her siblings, Demetrios Stagakes and Denise Olcese. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jerry Spears Funeral Home of Hilliard (5471 Frazell Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church (434 Norton Rd, Columbus, OH 43228).
