He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hawkins and Lula Hawkins; his siblings, Harold Hawkins (Margeret), Claris Jean Owens (Herman), Bob Hawkins, Marie Dowler (Paul) and Larry Hawkins; and his son Kevin Asbury (Sandy).
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Nadine Hawkins; his sisters-in-law, Norma Hawkins and Ailene Hawkins; his brothers, Roy Hawkins, Bill Hawkins (Diane) and Don Hawkins (Terri); his children, Diane Edwards, Darlene Ernst, Keith Asbury and Rodney Asbury (Becky); and his close friends, Rick Timmons and Donna Martin. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
