He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas, Margaret "Marge" Hritzo and Dreama DeCarlo; his uncle John Wellman; and his cousin Gabriella Simone Zeoli.

He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Hritzo, II and Rochelle "Shelli" DeCarlo; his brother Matteo Hritzo; his grandparents, Vince DeCarlo and Geraldine "Gerri" Sefcek (Bill); his aunts and uncles, Nick DeCarlo (Erin), Charley DeCarlo, Taylor LeGrone, Biagina Fierst (Ray), Angela LeGrone, Laurie Benson (Dane), John Hritzo, Mary Hritzo-Zeoli, Cheryl "Sherry" Wellman and Michael Hritzo; and his pets, Mia and Katt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence in memory of Tommy.
