He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna; his children, Aubrey McPheters (Blake), Tyler Moening (Casey) and Tara King (Zach); his grandsons, Beauden and Brooks; his mother-in-law Beulah Harris; his parents, William "Bill" Moening and Nancy Moening; his brother Wade; his father-in-law Donald Harris Sr.; his brother-in-law John Harris; his granddaughter Carter McPheters; and his pet Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in his honor to Capital City Hospice or St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
