Alberta Preston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Preston (Hillsboro, Ohio), who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Stone and Ella Stone (Joe Jack Preston); and her sister Roberta Bolender. She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Gross (Clifford); her grandsons, Jeffery Gross, Matthew Gross (Patricia Shyanna) and Michael Smith; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Aidan Gross; and her sibling's children, Patricia Simpson, Randle Bolender and Rodger Bolender.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Family request donations be made to the Bible Believers Baptist Church.
