She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johnson and Louise Johnson (Aldridge); her former husband Charles "Bill" Lunsford Sr.; her sisters, Alma Lee Shaper, Ruth Anne McNeil and Doris Jean Johnson; her son-in-law William Jeffery Patton; her grandson Warren Cody Patton; her great grandchild Alayah Grace Wright; and her close friend MaryAnn Gorman.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Jeannette Anne Puckett (Brian), Nancy Fender and James Shaper Jr.; and her close friends, Cindy Eleyet and Sandy Rowe. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Mae Lunsford will be remembered not only for her contributions to her community but also for the love that she so generously shared with those around her.
