He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walters and Sarah Walters (Wooten); his daughters, Wanda Faye Blakenship and Phyllis Shreffler; and his siblings, Joyce Posey, Bascom Charles "Buck" Walters, Foster G. "Duck" Walters (Eleanor) and Arthur Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Loyce Walters (Robinson); and his children, Ronnie Walters (Shirley) of Fairborn and Patty Mercer of Fairborn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
