He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Stone and Lorrene Stone (Rhoden); his former wife Charlotte E. Stone (Prye); his siblings, Johnny Ray Stone, Rosanna Ellen Gibson and Linda L. Kemp; and his brother-in-law Billy Prye.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Stone, Jr. of Winchester, Samuel Stone of Winchester and Kim Garvie (Greg) of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Samantha and Christopher Garvie; his mother-in-law Charlotte A. Shulock; his siblings, Walter Stone (Peggy), Thomas Stone (Kathy), Nancy Hughes (Charles), Billy Stone, Clarence Stone (René), Carl Stone and Julie Watson (Chad); and his in-laws, Albert Prye (Teresa), Georgette Coalt (Mark), Samuel Prye (Angela), Kenton Moore and Jesse Prye. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Samantha Bible Baptist Church (10211 OH-72, Leesburg, OH 45135). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
