He is survived by: his children, Douglas Gene Brewer and Rachelle Lynn Winfree; his stepson Scott Carlson; and his sisters, Patricia Short and Barbara Everidge. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
