He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Eugene and Evelyn Louise Craig Bruggeman; his brothers, James "Jimmy" Bruggeman and Gary Bruggeman; his sister-in-law Jean Bruggeman; and his grandsons, Jeffrey Bruggeman and Scott Marcum.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Ball Bruggeman; his children, Susan K. Ison of Hillsboro, William E. Bruggeman (Rita) of Hillsboro, Jeffrey A. Bruggeman of Hillsboro and John L. Bruggeman (Sandy) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cook (Chris), Nicole Bruggeman, Cody Page, Shane Bruggeman, Dalton Smith, Cody Vanlangen, Courtney Vanlangen and Herb Marcum; his great grandchildren, Clarke, Juno, Memphis, Kaden, Kiean, Lilah, Cheyenne, Knisley and Grayson; and his brothers, David Bruggeman of Springfield and Dennis Bruggeman (Karen) of Vincennes, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
