He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frederick McClananhan and Evelyn Marie Sattler; the mother of his children Alice McClanahan; and his siblings, Jim McClanahan, Jack McClanhan, Raymond McClanahan and Louise Brookover McClanahan.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy McClanahan (Cindy) of Blanchester and Cynthia Hamilton (Chris) of Xenia; his grandchildren, Nathan McClanahan (Sierra), Indica Coleman (J. V.), Airica Murphy, Cortnee Brumley and Cailee Christman (Zach); and his siblings, Tom McClanahan, Howard McClanahan, David McClanahan, Gary McClanahan and Rose Harris. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
