He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ellsworth Chaney and Dorothy Elizabeth Chaney (Williamson); and his brother David Chaney. He is survived by: the mother of his children Valarie Susan Chaney; his sons, Rick Chaney Jr. of Hillsboro, Tyler Bailey of Hillsboro and Ryan Chaney (Morgan McCann) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Collin Chaney, Kyler Chaney, Leland Burton, Addison Burton, Ava Chaney, Layna Chaney, Lexie Chaney, Jaxon Chaney, Abigail McCarthy, Sara Sprague, Eli Sprague, Gabriel Dodson and Andi Jo McCann; and his sister Shirley Williams of Hillsboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
