He is survived by: his wife Doris Shaw (Gilpin); his children, Becky Adams, Mary Miller, Christina Hughes, Robert Ball (Linda), Terry Ball, James Ball and Jerry Ball; his stepdaughter Teresa Piatt; his brother Bill Shaw (Donna); and his sister-in-law Wanda Shaw. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home (241 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
