It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Garland of Hillsboro, Ohio, born in Edmonton, Kentucky, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Garland and Pearl Garland (Pennington); his former wife Gladys Garland; and his siblings, Sherman, Russell, Lonzo, Joe Garland and Ruth Sage.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis M. Garland (Page); his daughters, Cynthia McNaughton (Christopher) of Xenia and Rebecca LaMarche (David) of Tucson, AZ; his stepchildren, Dianne McLaughlin (Larry), Rick Edison of Hillsboro and Steve Edison of Hillsboro; his granddaughter Christina Schiermeyer (Anthony) of Tucson, AZ; and his siblings, Clay, Woodrow, Mary Greathouse, Julia Dial and Mattie. He is also survived by eight step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
