He was predeceased by: his father Leon Hanes; and his stepfather Frank Hutchinson. He is survived by: his mother Margie Wells; his siblings, Terry Hanes (Penny), Everett Hurst (Tina), Chris Burden (Stephanie), Rick Hutchinson (Tracy), Theresa Small (Jim), Lisa Chalk (Keith), Kim Batman (Dale), Tammy Youngerman and Terrie Amis (David); his stepmother Shirley Hanes; his grandchildren, Willow and Ryker Tsotsos; and his close friends, Angelo and Tiffany Tsotsos. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
