He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. McCoy and Irene C. Cottrill McCoy; and his grandson Tyler McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Beam of Lexington, TN and Jason McCoy of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Shaylynn Hope Nevil (Josh) of Hillsboro and John McCoy of Hillsboro; his great grandchildren, Luke, Emma and Elijah; and his sisters, Jeanette McCoy (Luke) of Chillicothe and Jackie Kuk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
